ETC rom flashing?

I d/l both the latest ecu rom from my 04 STi, but I noticed there's also an updated ETC rom? I'm asuming it's a electronic throttle control rom? how do I go about updating that?...

I don't believe we've ever seen anyone read or write to anything but the main CPU on this site.

Yes, I'm unaware of any updated ETC ROM for the 2004 US STI. SOA has issued updated ETC ROMs for the 2005 Baja turbo, the 2005 Legacy/Outback turbo, and the 2004-5 Forester XT.

Colby has posted some ETC ROM images at:

But updating them isn't yet supported by EcuFlash.

I just noticed that it was for aj242... meaning it's the same ROM that was on the 700 aj242 ecu? That's what I had on my ecu prior to upgrading to a base map based on the 710 aj243 rom... so I guess I already have the most recent ETC rom?
