I would guess it is something to do with emissions, but could be wrong.

Looks strange?
Have anybody tested the map?

This is a bit off topic but i tried this map in my car (MY02 UK STI) more as a trial than anything - was 1st flash different from the original rom. everything went well (i tried a test flash 1st and a compare). But afterwards the car would crank but not start. i carped myself a bit and then flashed the original back on and everything ok again.

is there something i need to do the initialise the rom or something - i didn't do anything once i'd flashed my orignal back on (short of dis-connecting the flash blocks.

i wonder if it was the immobiliser or something, but i wouldn't expect to be able to crank if it was.

It didn't load into my ECU first time either for some reason, I re-loaded my original rom then tried again without turning the ignition off and it loaded fine.

Works well, better accel from low down but seems a bit sluggish up the rev range so I'm going to log it over the weekend and see if it's correcting for knock or if it's just me!! Might just be that the map is much smoother than the standard Type UK map.

I need to do some work on it because I don't have the sports cat or uprated fuel pump that come with the PPP so I was expecting it to have some issues that I could look at by logging it on the car.

vtt map not applicable to my car as its a 2002my and doesn't have the variable inlet cam motor.

I have the decat downpipe, fuel pump and panel filter fitted to my car.. sounds exactly what I need :)

Take a backup of you existing ROM and try it out.. What is the worst thing that could happen ? :-)
