Can someone comment on my logs?

Postby RktWgn » Tue Oct 24, 2006 6:08 am

I did two runs with my car and have attached the logs. The first run is in 3rd gear, the second in 4th. I'm a newb so would appreciate any help or comments. Didn't know what all to log so I checked quite a few boxes...

Details on my car: '05 FXT 5MT, PDE Catless U/P & D/P, 3" catless mid to STi axleback, VF39 w/ STi TMIC, modified Cobb VF39 map (TDC E-Tune).

Thanks!

Scott

Thats pretty low boost for a VF39. You should log the "Corrected" MRP instead of the other two.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. I noticed that the boost is higher in 4th than in 3rd. This would echo what I saw when I ran the AP's boost monitoring option. That showed me boosting in the low 17's in 5th gear. What I don't want to happen is for me to correct 3rd gear only to have that be magnified into overboost in 4th and 5th. Suggestions?
