Here is my first shot at a custom map. I based most of the tuning off of a Stage 1 map from a 2002 and made a few additional changes to smooth out some of the problem areas. I have tested the map and found it to run pretty smooth with a great power increase and responsiveness. Please feel free to use at your own risk and comment on your results. I am working on getting some datalogs soon as well.

So something interesting I saw about this map was that the target boost levels at low throttle leves are very high compared to other maps I've looked at. I'm a total newb at this so I'm just sorta curious what the purpose of this is. Other then that, I'm hoping to flash this this afternoon!

I tend to like a little more oomph at lower TPS levels instead of having to mash it to go all the time. Most people who run the map tend to agree. I will be updating the revision again soon so give that one a try and there will be more coming.

I'm a total noob too (cable on the way) and was wondering the same thing. I've got an 04 and was wondering how aggressive your maps usually are.

If I'm a chicken, would just toning down the target boost and max wastegate duty cycle generally be okay or would fuel or timing need to be adjusted when boost and wastegate values are changed? I'm just trying to get a feel of the relationship. (I've got books on the way but I'm impatient)
