DBW CEL offsets

DBW CEL offsets

Postby Freon » Sun Apr 09, 2006 10:23 am

I seem to have found the CEL locations in my USDM STI A2ZJ500J ECU. All bunched up around 450CD through 45D10.

The format seems different, though, so not sure how to "fix" it.

I think I've figured it out... at least for the USDM 2004 Forester XT... I'll check to see if the STI works the same way and report back..

In the meanwhile, check my post in this thread:

The STI seems to have the same format, so give the following a try:

Search for code 0420 (I found it at address 0x455B8), enter it into the following formula:

(OBD2code_address-0x450CB)/0x14+0x45028

You get 0x45067, at this address, enter in a 0 (it is currently 1)... reflash, and report back to see if that worked...

Hatchy, what model ECU do you have? AJ241? AJ242?

Post your rom file somewhere. You can attach it via the forum on a post, button is right above the"preview" and "submit" buttons.

If you have an AJ241 like I do, the P0420 CEL is right around 455B8, just like the picture I posted.

I haven't gotten around to revisiting this yet. I'll flash this change into my ECU again later this week. I just confirmed the flash I have now does not have value at 45067 set to "0," it is still "1." I got a P0420 a few days ago.

Here is what I have at 455B8 on the tuned ecu:
