Needs .NET 2.0 framework

Mad If I could get your code, i'd like to make just a basic console logging program so I can try and get more speed in the logging department without all the updates etc.

ok, help me out here- this requires .net 2.0, i had to uninstall 2.0 and install 1.1 to get evoscan to install properly (errored out with 2.0 installed)- can i have both frameworks installed at once? i don't feel like experimenting with that until someone can give me a pointer....

if not, there's no way to run them on the same system....?

I had 1.1 and installed 2.0 today and evoscan still works.

ok as for the air volume log this first shot shows the variance in reading at steady rpm and throttle that indicate closed loop o2 readings from the o2 channel and the air volume channel.

now this pic is from the same log durring decel notice how much quicker air volume channel hits 0 when compaired to o2 channel and inj pw.

I wonder if o2 is realy rear o2 (after cat) and air volume is realy front o2 (before cat). this is on an evo 9 so it may be different than an 8.

whatcha think?

You need to install the earlier version first then add the newer. You definately can have both on your system.

Andenbre, my Evo 9 has only one O2 sensor and it reads sensible readings under O2 sensor. But it still has an "airflow" reading that behaves like yours.

Hopefully when the source appears then more people can test it in different ways. Although perhaps by editing the xml file you can already read different channels, but there are a lot to go through...

what do you expect for pre-release software?

we asked for a release and got it. careful what you ask for or set your expectations accordingly.

I only expect that the program will install and I will be able to use it. I can understand that it's not perfect yet. But when I try to install it I get the stupid ass message saying .net isn't installed and it is. So I sent him a pm asking him what the program is looking for to verify that .net is installed and I get no response. 1 for 5 on installs It will only install on my server computer at work none of the desktops/laptops at my house will install it and my car pc will not install it.

Little crying girls gonna ruin it for everyone. So many other people have gotten it to work. Maybe it is something with your computer. Stop crying and try to resolve it. Dont bitch and moan about a freeware program that is in beta stages. If you dont like it just buy an aem and you will have all the fast datalogging necessary and a dedicated forum for support or use one of the slower sample rate programs out there.

You sir can go suck a dick. Do you know VB and can help with the coding errors then maybe you should stfu and mind your own business.

your problem is that you are too incompetant to install .NET properly.

Try this:
1) uninstall all the version of .NET you have on your system and evoscan
2) run auto update, this will prompt you to re-install .NET
3) after installing .NET re-run auto update to verify your install.
4) re-install EvoScan.

If it still does not work, well; you are fucking clueless, stop bitching and whining. This is PRE-RELEASE software that we (as a group) pushed EvoMad to release before he said it was ready.

I don't expect it to be perfect, neither should you.

I think I just figured out my 3 samples per second problem. I am running a UTEC also right now until the full data logger is available. Now since the UTEC is a piggyback I think the sample rate is suffering because of going through 2 Ecu's. Does this sound logical?

I know there was another user that was using Ecuflash and it works for both of us but he is running in passthrough (map0) and I am still running a dedicated map (map1). I would run in the passthrough mode but the injector difference is too large, ahh hell Ill try and report back my findings. MJ could you comment on this if you have any ideas.

I guess my laptop is slow then. Or Ill just have to keep the window minimized to get 80+ samples/sec

Have you tried to update the video driver on your laptop, text rendering should not cause that much slowdown.

FWIW, I am also running a utec, but it is on map0, but with my p3 750 craptop I think I was getting over 60/s

I can fix the problems with slow speeds when the window is open in a few minutes. I just need the code to be able to.
