Special Request for the Programmers out there

Postby ev8siv3 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 8:21 am

I just wanted to see if you had or could possibly make a RAM writing utility? I want to try a few addresses at first for things like IAM etc.. but it would really help in my further research. All I'd need is to input the HEX address I.e.

0x20168 (IAM) and the new value in HEX to write from that initial byte.

Example:

Code: Select all
Location:  0x20168
Current :  (query for current) Lets say it comes back 0C (IAM 12)
New:        10  (IAM 16)
*Click To Write*

Theres probably more involved but this would be a GREAT help, anything would be appreciated.

I have created a VB GUI for it so far, just need to add in the code to READ / WRITE.

Not sure what you mean. But you can use the SSM protocol for writing RAM addresses. Or do you need a HC16 code snippet ?
