Mods: De-catted DP & Axle back exhaust system.

Stats with IAM < 12, which is normal for imported JDM into other markets with non 98RON gas.

The tuning is going good. The base maps have a lot of timing and I could not find any ign temp. compensation. I have to hunt down for it. Temperature is 32+C @ the intake.

The kc is almost 0 in some area and IAM is all most constant @ 16. But the car will feel dead when running @ night , since we cannot learn ign for those temps, but we can always reflash

The JDM WRX have restrictions for boost. The owner need to get some STI stuff for that setup. The tubes and everyting should fit back up

What do you mean restrictions for boost?

I put this motor into my USDM 2.5RS(GC body), and I'm trying to learn some things so that I can tune the car.

The boost is physically restricted. Not sure if I posted here, but you can do a search on nasioc.com

HA! I just did a overlay of mine and this one and the powercurves are almost identical... mine are slightly higher. I guess now I know what a stock JDM WRX drives like. Cool info to know.

The stock above IAM was less than 16. I think 12.

The JDM feels different to Export models because of the 4.444 final drive. But you are correct to some point.

I have the lastest Dyno. I guess I can upload it. I am trying to get the AVCS sorted out.

Below is a stock AVCS v3 w/ boost < 16psi.

The yellow line is a tune Export WRX (USA tune here). Boost was just a tab over 15psi

New Boost curve on a replica up-pipe and down-pipe, with a actuator slight adjustment adn 550cc STI injectors

Rev limit have been raise to 7800rpm, since power is now falling off way later.

So far with this setup, the caris doing low 13's consistently on street tires. Old street tires to that fact.

Because of everyone schedule, the car is on hold for more tuning to smooth out some stuff and for a turbo upgrade. A VF22 or VF30 maybe in the works
