How to re-pin ecu connectors?

Postby yebokmj » Wed Mar 15, 2006 7:32 pm

I'm using a MY05 LGT harness with an MY04 STi ecu, and I need to re pin a few wires. I know I can just cut and slice if I want to. But one of the Fuel pump controler wire locations is empty on the LGT connector. I need to remove a wire that's not being used and it's pin from the connector and move it to the Vehicle speed location. How do I get one out? Does anyone have a place I can get one if removing one is not an option? Let me know thanks.

There is a little hole above each connector socket location. If you have the right tool, you can insert it in this hole and it will push down the retention tab on the socket pin and you can remove it.
