Now I get to learn Subaru Engine Managment

Oh boy, new toy!

I was thinking of getting the Mitsubishi Outlander, and installing a turbo system to have an AWD - Crossover/SUV to do some off-roading. Circumstance lead to purchasing my fathers 2006 Forester XT automatic, which was traded in on the new 2009 Forester XT. With 22,000, being under the factory warranty, and maintained by me, it seemed like a good deal. I now love the Subaru over the Mitsubishi…

I am going to have fun with this buildup! I’ll also be getting the new Tactrix cables very soon… (I see we are still not accepting contributions).

I will be putting a cast iron EVO manifold on the Galant soon, along with a rebuilt HRC Super 16G. This is going to max out the factory head flows and looking into an EVO swap-out. Over the summer I plan to go with an AWD system using the JDM Galant VR4 for drive axles and break systems, and the EVO 8 heads (and transmission) on the 4G64 bottom end with upgraded internals (stroked). It might get pushed off till winter being I have more potential now concentrating on the FXT (or more bang for the buck). Here is the Galant.

I have a crap-load of reading to do on Subaru, starting with typing Freon and Merchgod in the search tool. I can’t believe I neglected Subaru for so long…

I cannot thank Open ECU/Colby enough along with the outstanding talent on this forums. The past 5 years have been the most memorable of my entire life… So far…
