I just purchased an '07 FXT MT and I plan to try EcuFlash once I break her in. Has anyone tried an '07 yet?

Not yet. One guy was able to download his rom from an 07 sti. Another guy was having problems reading an 07 wrx. The guy with the 07 sti flashed an 06 sti image onto it and FUBAR'd his ecu. Reading won't hurt anything though, so I would start there.

How is the 07 responding to Ecuflash?
Do you have it working?

I thought I read elsewhere that the 07 STI ecu is a different animal then the wrx an that the 07 FXT ecu is the same as an 06 FXT ecu..
any truth to this?

Bumping this thread. I was able to log an 07 FXT today with both enginuity and ecuexplorer but neither 1.28 or 1.30 of ecuflash will read the rom. The car definitely goes into test mode and I checked the second green connector on the passenger side and it was connected.

this is my usdm 07fxt 5spd stock rom pulled using openport 2.0. where can i make a request for the ecu definition?

So has anybody released updated maps for the 07 - 08 XT manual? Now that the OP 2.0 is out, I had hoped for a cheap alternative to the AP. Or does anyone know of someone in the South East that can tune my car?
