No communication on OBD

No communication on OBD

Postby Malmoe_Sweden » Thu Aug 14, 2008 1:25 pm

Urgent help needed.

I have lost serial communication on OBD. Have tried my Openport cable and a diagnostic tool with no success on OBD. No Ecu´s are available.
The car runs fine though.
I think i have damaged the Communication gateway when I had my laptop connected to the car and disconnected the battery.

Could it be a blown fuse somewhere'?
A schematic on the MUT serial OBD circuit would be a great help.
my car is a Evo 7 JDM

Thank´s , Lars

I had a bad connection on my OBD connector.
I changed the connector on my diagnostic tool. Everything works fine now.

But my Openport 1.3 cable was burned. I opened the hardcase and smelled a burned circuit.
