What is needed to be done to have a definition for a 4g

I have a friend who would like to run EcuFLash on his USDM 4g Eclipse GT Manual transmission. But what needs to be done to have this done? We maybe willing to send out the ecu to colby so we can have it done properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The ECU is canbus and incompatible with the current version of ecuflash. The rest of us 4G'rs are crossing our fingers and hoping Openport 2 will give us something useable.

Well hasnt the evo x been already hacked? I know that also utilizes a can bus protocol so i figured it may work with my friends 06 4g
