Hi to all

Please have a look in the log and tell me why the fuel consumption is so hi...Please. I don't want to go into the full depth of the story but i all ready payed super mechanics to tell me nothing and i decided to buy the evoscan and check things for myself. So i made this log but at the moment don't know what to look at there so i can find a fault. Some people mentioned some pin that lets the petrol that is getting stuck and the car gets too much petrol and just needs a clean but they cannot point the location of it.(probably just stories) I get something like 17l/100km or more and car its like has no power. I checked the TPS and seems fine and working its not a big deal there. I got like 30 ohms just before the switch opens/closes I cant remember. For me that should be ok its like close to 0 unless someone instructs me to change it . (Im a electronics engineer ).I checked voltages for MAF and TPS before ECU and they are in the accepted values(according to AUTODATA 3.18).Beside that i get an old error code (im just guessing its old) that speed sensor is defective and i remember that i changed a 10 amps fuse that was going to it. I hope i gave as much info as possible. There might be some more but cant think of it.

Regards Sylma

ECU rom flash

Postby sylmarils » Fri May 16, 2008 2:04 pm

Hi

Can anyone point a good tutorial of how to flash and what to flash on this car. I think that someone did a bad flash on it.

I noted the air intake temperature is -65 thats not normal. Anyway i looked for the sensor from autodata but is not installed where it suppose to be(by factory). Also i noted that fuel trim low is 125% , fuel trim mid is 0.1% and same for high. Dont know what they mean but from the example i get it that they are way of scale. ie: if mid is 100 low should be 95 and high should be 105.Can anyone point what are the correct values for this car??

Regards Sylma.

PS seems like no one reply to this thread i think i should close it
