which cable to get?

which cable to get on the limitless site. does it matter which one. specifically which one. i got a mirage w/evo 4 swap planning to go with an evo 8 ecu....? which one is best to suite to reflash evo 7-8 ecu on the evo 4.

OpenPort 1.3U Cable and ecuflash , im using a evo7 ecu in my evo4 for a while now ,with a few wiring changes fuel pump /rad and a/c fans ,then run a wire to ecu pin 79 for the white socket and wire in a heated o2 sensor as its not on the e4, think its on the mirage though.

best bet is get pinout diag for both ecu and see what pins are different, i have the pinouts for 96 for lancer mivec which i would assume is very similar to mirage. i can pm it to you if you need it .

Which cable works with EvoScan v2.2 and 2004 WRX?

I have a tactrix cable OpenPort 1.3 but it's not the universal one. They don't even sell mine on tactrix.com anymore. Their website is horrible. The one I have is called "OpenPort for Subaru WRX and Drive-by-wire vehicles". I am guessing it should work the same as the 1.3U but I cannot get EvoScan to initialize.

Anyone out there using EvoScan with their WRX? Help please!
