Hello guys, im trying to edit my ecu as it has far to much timing. I have ECUFLASH and ENGINUITY, tactrix 1.3 cable etc. Does anyone have the definitions for this ecu :

12v

denso

as i can read the rom but cannot open the hex file in any programme, am i doing something wrong?

Add this file to the ECU Definition Manager.

how do i do that? and what programm is that file for? enginuity or ecuflash?

ok added it in enginuity.. dont think its quite the correct definition as it said somethings were out of bounds.. but has loaded the bulk of the file

Thats ok. All values appear correct in the required maps.

if i wanted to pull some timing in the midrange to stop detonation, what tables would i modify? main ignition IAS open or IAS closed, i have limited knowledge on this.. cheers

It depends if you are open or close of the IACV.

Normally for a quick fix, you can reduce the ign adv by half.
