Dynowog,
It seems we were in the same neighbourhood when I was in OZ. I was just off Gafney Street.
I'm now temporarily living in Japan and hope to bring my JDM MY06 STI Spec-C back to OZ next year.

Parso,

Been playing with one owned by a guy I work with, recently just got a upgrade staight cut gearset for his gearbox from hi torque dandenong, as he absolutly smashed his other one.
Some workshop put a interceptor on it, so we've removed that and altered the tune this way.

Justin here from Sydney, just found this forum thru google, totally new to this reflash stuff...great to find forums like this to tap into. I'm converting my FWD 3door Lancer hatch to 4WD with a fully forged VR4 RS 4G63, cars currently in the panel shop, engine being built, now trying to sort out how I go about the tuning!

Not sure if you guys have seen this but in case its useful, I bought myself an ECU emulator so retunes should be a breeze...no need to burn a new chip each time. You can get em from www.moates.net, called an "Ostrich"...now I just have to work out how to play around with the tune!?!!?

02 STI Reflash

Postby STI02 » Sat Aug 18, 2007 7:16 pm

Hi dynowog

Have you done a reflash on an Aus 02 STI ? I've been reading the forums but not much mentioned on the 02 STI's just wondering if it can be done and if anyone has had success with it?

Cheers
p.s. I am in Melb also.
