"If you have the time then please read this" Need

Hi all,
I'm looking at the Ecu image on my JDM STi7 using Enginuity but first I recorded a log in second gear. I have a couple of questions to ask but first please look at the following.

I run her Steady @ 3150 rpm in second gear then foot hard to the floor.
Log shows low boost of 0.41 bar until the rpm hit 4074rpm :(
the boost increased to 0.74 bar @ 4074rpm and increases quickly
to 1.241bar @ 4908rpm.

Question #1 Why was the boost so low between 3500rpm & 4000rpm :?:

Question#2 Could you look at my Max Wastegate duty & Target boost maps
Would you say there a little tame around midrange :?: ie around 3200 rpm

Target boost on the pic includes atmospheric pressure

Thx for your time lads (lasses)

What are your init wgdc and TD positive maps like?

I presume you have checked for leaks?

Thank you for looking,
Checked the whole system from the airbox to turbo for leaks, inc tmic for splits or cracks.

Do you mean my Turbo dynamics wastegate duty correction map?

Cheers

Yes those and the initial wgdc map.

The maps dont look tame at 3200 by the way.

Hi again
Here are three pictures.

Top Wastegate duty cycle %

middle Turbo Dynamics Burst

Bottom Turbo Dynamics Continuous

I'm not sure what one you exactly want to see when you say
initial wastegate duty cycle, so if ive put the wrong one then let me know.

Id like to say thank you again for helping me out.
Cheers.

I see what you mean when you say 3200 is not tame so would you say it would have been lag, regarding my first question in the first post?

What turbo is this ?

Seems very excessive for lag.

Its the IHI VF30
I found out my map does not have the initial wastegate map unlike say the s202
What turbo does the S202 have because i'm confused, id of thought it would have had the twin scroll vf34 but alot of sites say no. Any ideas which it has?

I was wondering if i'd be able to flash my ecu with the s202 map but havn't just incase It damaged my engine

I have noticed i'm getting surge around half throttle it seems to be getting worse over time, I understand that this can happen on the sti7 when decated but mine still has the cat. ive only got a 5zigun cat back 3" system so its weird. I have decided to take the old girl to power engineering beginning of next year for a tune. This may be the cheapest way in the long run instead of a blown engine.

See this post of mine for the difference in s202 and my sti7 turbo map
