help... cant flasf or read

Hi last saturday i started flashing, and on my second flash it stoped flashing at the midle of the flash and it said totri again and the same thin hapened only these time it just dosnt start to flash or read again.

my mesage is simple
[12:03:18.110] Using interface OpenPort 1.3 Mitsubishi TX35rBOSfe1ab7c956c5f0aae78b9598f7276a5dc3826586
[12:05:08.489] sending init sequence 1 (0001)
[12:05:11.753] sending init sequence 1 (0003)
[12:05:15.028] sending init sequence 1 (FFFF)
[12:05:17.792] no response to any known code

these hapened to my some time ago when i first read and baked up the ecu a few month ago and at that time i didnt try to hard just a few trys for one wekend and some other time it did not conect.

the car runs fine just isnt the best seting and i really want and need to start tuning.

I have tryed the folowing

1 Used two diferent computers
2 every version of ecuflash from 1.28 1.29 1.3...
3 ecu flash unloker
4 with the car cold after one nigth
5 just after half houer drive
6 rechequed the tatrix cable and inspectedit a lott
7 chek the voltage with evoscan and i reads 12.7...
8 :roll:

Might be because of bad contacts. Check if your cable works correctly, using Mitsulogger or evoscan. If it does, then there might be a problem with the flash connector.

i am using evoscan and it works fine, i really dont understand. :roll:

Check the voltage on the programming connector (the one that hangs off the OBDII connector). It should be 15-18V when trying to enter flash mode (use a scope; it might pulse on and off). Perhaps the circuitry that generates this in the OpenPort died.

If these hapened, no voltage on these conector do i have to get a new tactrix cable or can it be reapired

my friends car is also doing the same thing, my cable works fine on my evo, i am able to read and write in my ecu, but i cant even just connect/read his ecu..

The fix is to start the car and have it running when you attempt to flash the ECU. When the process starts it will turn off the car and then flash the ECU. Works like a charm on every car that I previously had issues connecting to.

Thanks Jeff- good work.
Did anybody work out why this happens? Is there some interaction from an immobilizer or other module in the car? Wiring diagrams I've seen do not seem to have anything attached to the programming voltage line.
