Sub7 thank you! I appreciate the post and will use it to see where the change-over is (GTA to Airtrek) in the mapping to get a better picture of the Airtrek tune. But I need the full 512kb pull to do the transmission maps, that is the problem with 4G64. All Galants (in 2003) come with the "standard" 4 speed auto and no option for standard 5 speed. To go with a 5 speed manual swap, there would be no problem for a 256kb ROM swap because there is no need for transmission controls (a very simple option but would use one of the manual ROMs). I would really like to do the sporty swap which would need the sporty transmission mapping; this is where the 512kb ROM is necessary. But it is a ROM I am very happy to add to the compilation. Hell it is where the Airtrek started, so thank you very much! I think some of the guys on Club3G would benefit form it.

Yee, you are a one of a kind! Don’t you ever change! I appreciate all you have done with your Airtrek posts, which should hopefully help out at least the Eclipse owners with the sporty transmission. Once Club3G can get a ROM swap to work on there 4G64, I will have a good idea on what/where to go next (like finding and purchasing the 5 speed Tiptronic gearbox from an Eclipse or Outlander).

Maybe I should take a HUGE road-trip (with the watercraft modification) and hang out with you guys for a week!

Keep in touch…

Hello guys, need help on this, hope bros. here can share with me.

1. Load %
I would like to ask about the load % values when we open up the AFR map and Ignition Timing map in ECUFlash.

For the load% in the AFR map, my understanding is that 100% = 0 bar and 200% = 1 bar boost pressure (approximately).
However, for the Ignition Timing map, the load% starts at 0 to 100 (at 10% increment), followed by 120, 140, 160, 180 than 260. Are these load % similar to the AFR map (read approximately as boost)? If not, what is the reference unit (engine load?)?

Under Turbo Map - Boost Desined Engine Load - the % values are reference to what unit?

Thanks & regards.

Divide afr map by 128 to get the value in the fuel map that it's on at that moment.

Just wondering if anyone else has the ability to control the autotrans?

So far I've only found one guy who could do it.. but he's too busy to reply me :(

He drives an Evo automatic
Why can't we get this kind of cars here ??

Chk us out here http://groups.msn.com/airtrekoutlanderclub

Airtrek/Outlander Turbo is a detuned EVO7 4G63 GTA SUV (4x4) 0-60miles in 7sec 240HP 343nm torque, INVECSII Tiptronic 5 speed. One of the fastest SUV around. Contender will be Porsche Cayenne.

Unfortunately, these cars are only available in Asia (Airtrek Turbo) and Europe (Outlander Turbo).
