Are the 2004 and 2005 Cobb Accessports compatible at all?

I just got rid of my 04' WRX and got a newer 05' and was wondering if i could use that AP on the newer model? What would happen if anything if i did so? I'm pretty new at this so it would be awesome if i could get some help! thanks!

They are not compatible out of the box. One option is that you send your AP to Cobb to be reprogrammed for some ridiculous fee like $200 or something like that. Option two is that you reprogram it yourself. You need the utility that used to be accessible from Cobb to do it. I happen to have it

Here's the reprogramming tool. Make sure you're unmarried before you do this. Otherwise, you'll HAVE TO send to to Cobb and they'll charge you a lot more than $200. Let me know how it goes.

oh, you mean a tool that runs to a usb port right after you unzip it...
Is this legal?? n/m, running for my garage...
