OpenPort 1.3M (for Mitsubishis) pre-ordering now

I apologize for how long this is taken, but I am taking pre-orders on http://tactrix.com now for the new OpenPort 1.3M which will be shipping out next week. This cable will allow you to reflash the Evo 7/8, 2001-2003 Eclipses, 2002-2004 Lancers, and a number of other Mitsubishis in the near future. The same cable can also reflash any of the DBW Subarus (STi/FXT/LGT/2006WRX), but not the 2002-2005 WRX.

The Mitsubishi connector wire will be slightly different than what is shown here - it will include a quick-disconnect in line so that you wont have a dangling Mitsu connector on the cable when you don't need to be reflashing Mitsus.

can't find 1.3m cable on tactrix website why need to order one it was there for $89 but now it's gone any reasons why.

I am preparing for the EVO 6 reflashing code to be ready. Should I wait for that to come out to make sure that the cable is usable or is it a certainty that this cable will work with the EVO 6.

The Mitsubishi specific cable can't relfash non-DBW Subarus as it lacks a need reflash voltage. The Universal cable was made for this reason. It does have that additional voltage.

Not with the Mitsubishi cable, but it can be done with the Universal cable.

I know this will be a silly question, but when installing the universal cable how will the drivers be labled? as I've recently purchased a cable that was said to be a universal one but when I plugged it in the isntall gave no mention of subaru drivers and comes up 1.3M when being used with ecuflash, is this ok for non drive by wire subarus for reading and flashing?
