Trouble reading ecu

I have kept getting the same error code every time I try to read my ecu. I have connected the green test leads. I have also had my car tuned with an Ecutek about two years ago. I called the person who tuned my car and he said he did not lock the ecu. He is aware that there is a lock and he claims he did not put on my ecu. This is what my log looks like:

What error? There is no error shown in the picture you posted.

That looks normal, though it should keep going after that point.

I will have to get a pic of it, but a small window pops up and says unable to read ecu. I will continue to keep trying, I only have to connect the green test leads correct for an 04 STi USDM correct?

I do believe so. You should only have to connect the green test connector under the dash.

Are you sure you click "ok" on Ecuflash only moments after you turn your key? You only get a few seconds between clicking OK in ecuflash and turning the key. If you are too slow it won't work. It's very common for people to not get this right.
