If you are using Ecuexplorer to read codes, it has been known to have problems and show codes that have not been actually thrown.

hmmm, that may be a small issue... lol. Might explain why I have no flashing cruise now. I'll do a double check with my ELM323 and see what it reads.

speaking of number of driving cycles, I know those DTC records in the image have more data in them than is shown. The byte right after the two DTC P-value bytes is usually a 1 or 2. I'm thinking that is the number of cycles before it is thrown, but that's a guess.

followed up, several cycles tonight. no dtcs at all. Those others were probably phantoms as described.

OH, btw, if you haven't copied the throttle duty cycle table from the 05 STi into the legacy image, DO IT. Throttle response is no longer sluggish. Also if you're not using 521, DO IT. Studder goes away.

I run the 510C map, but the throttle tables have been modified
never had any real stutter, so I'll stick w/ 510C

^^ that's interesting, it's in the low rpm, low boost range. I had it before on my car, and now it 'tis gone. woot.

as of today and many cycles, still no codes thrown.

probably because my car is an auto it dampens it a bit

mmmm, now that might be why. Me thinks the MT5's dual mass flywheel exacerbates the stutter.

Great Call! It really livens it up. And until looking at the LGT stock map, I never realized that the max it ever got was 80% throttle plate opening. Now, with this simple tweak, 100% is really 100%.

Another side benefit is that I also find it much easier to modulate the throttle from a dead stop when starting in first gear. Takeoffs are much easier... whether it's leaving the line at 800 rpm or 3000.

Even without any other tweaks, this is a great, simple, safe bang-for-the-buck mod.

I've been going through some serious woes with the website, I will try and get these back up online for you guys. The guys developing the enginuity program also have the DTC editing capabilities in their application now.
