Fried my ecu..... precaution for you all!

My car has been the weirdest swap of the century
MY2005 V9 Spec C driveline, and MY05 V9 Spec C ECU case and MYxx Vx ECU board as it appeared
The cams never worked on the proper AJ820 map.... as it appeared later, the neutral position switch was from old car and because they changed it in 05 by inverting the signal, it caused the cams to not work as they are dependant of this
so that was fixed..... car was temporary flashed with AH581 map, cams worked, tones of knock due to no proper tune (I assume the neutral position switch was inverted via ECUTEK)

So.... with every bug out of the way, as I thought, car was set on the dyno, we flashed it with AJ810 8810 map AND..... no cams
ok, neutral switch was inverted just in case AND.....no cams
we tried older maps I run where the cams WERE working (AF....eh, don't remember, a V7 map) and the AH581 and no more AVCS

Basically the ECU board that is in now, never worked with the V9 Spec C map, NEVER. I tried it throughout the last 2 years trying to resolve the stupid AVCS issue
Considering other revision maps worked on it, it might mean that the board in the ECU was from a V7 later revision, or V8 earlier - and none of those can be flashed with newer maps.
Aside the neutral position swich, the newer map was different in some ways, and what I've been told by a respectable guy who knows these stuff like his 5 fingers, is that he's seen this happen before. Subaru changes ECUs inside, so that people can't use the newer/better maps for FREE, it fries the diodes on the board because of inverted pulsing 12V that go through them (something like this)

Be warned :)
Now, I am in search of a PROPER ECU with PROPER board :(
