Fuel Pump/Injectors

Hi All

I have a MY04 EUDM Forester. It is a 2.0L XT with a TD035. My intention is to upgrade it to a TD04 and to tune using ECUFlash.

I have been told a couple of times by others that in order for me to tune, I have to upgrade my Fuel Pump/Injectors. No reasons given. As far as I am concern, the pump and injectors are the same as the EUDM WRX 2.0L with TD04.

Anyone has any idea if this is really necessary? Or are they any added benefits to the change.

I don't know about the EU models hardware, but you can watch your wideband and injector duty to tell if you really do need to upgrade.

I use MY04 Forester2.0xt EU
change to TD04L and work well with stock pump and injectors , IDC < 90
(same pump & injectors of WRX2.0)

Your 04 EDM FXT, is it a DBW? When you flash it, did you need the jumper?
