I NEED AN ECU! Someone please help! Been without the car for over 3 weeks now!
Desparately need a 05 Legacy GT MT (or compatible) ECU.

seems like you are going to have to go to the dealership....
you are probably gonna get some
looks, but they would have/ be able to order another ecu.

Don't you still need to synchronize your new ECU with your immobilizer? AFAIK, only the dealer can do this.

Found one used for $150 shipped. It's a 17A version so I will most likely throw a CEL P1446 as the A revision had an additional fuel tank sensor that was later deleted but I should be able to map that out.
Yes, I will have to tow the car to the dealership and pay for the immobilizer re-synch. Sucks! I hope I get this thing on the road next week.
