68HC16 Register Map & IDA query

Does anyone have, or can point me towards a copy of the Register Map for the HC16 processor that is used in the AF481 ECU ?

I downloaded what I thought was the datasheet, only to find that it's in Jap - which I can't read !

Also, does anyone know why IDA Pro V5 doesn't dissassemble the rom image when you first open the file ? If I load one of my HC11 images, it asks me what processor type it is, and then gives me the result - complete with register names. When I load the HC16 image, it doesn't ask me for the processor type, and doesn't dissassemble it. What have I done wrong ?

Don't know if this helps or not, but in the past, I've been able to get documentation on the HC series by submitting a request on the Motorola web page.

I've got the datasheet for the Y3 processor, but they said that they don't know of the Y5 version !

Is it the same ?

Helen - do you have the 6816 plugin for ida5 ? If not, you will need the advanced version, I am trying to source one for ida4.9 std and they wouldn't supply it sighting upgrade to advanced.
If you do, you may just need to specify where the image starts and 'c' to begin coding etc. Not sure if that info is any good

I have the IDA Pro Advanced, and I've got my head around how it all works now - project is coming on quite well now - got live fuel map tuning working, just doing the ignition side at the moment.

Helen, what IDA version is your advanced ? you dont happen to have 4.9 previously installed do you ? WOuldnt mind getting the 68hc16 module support for it if you do have it ... ta.
