Cant read 06 WRX

log reads like this every time I try to read my ecu, this is an 06 WRX, green flash cables are connected under steering column:

Tried reinstalling about 5 times now, any help would be much appreciated.

What cable are you using? When you unistalled Ecuflash did you also uninstall all the drivers (FTDI/Openport) that were in add/remove programs?

Yah uninstalled the 2 openport programs in add/remove, and fidi wont remove no matter how many times I try to uninstall it, and the cable is Tactrix OpenPort logging & reflash cable for Subaru Drive-by-wire vehicles, says openport 1.2 on the ebay auction I bought it off of, but the drivers installed with ecuflash were version 1.3

are the green connectors that need to be connected together under the steering column or by the ecu itself(passenger side)?
