On the broad:-

The large chip w/ many legs:

Forester S-turbo -99 (SF5, EU model):

PCB: A19-001 DS2N

CPU:

Two very different cars, but the CPU chip seems to be the same.
Im guessing that the circuit boards are equal too (with different IO components in place to control AVCS, turbo and the like)

Would be very cool if others with JECS ECU could post pictures!

My broad looks the same w/ the same sockets w/ one N/A.

What model SF5 is this? 2.0L, 2.5L or 2.0 Turbo?

Do you have avcs?

I need to identify where the avcs fits in sometime soon, including other pins there that are not shown in the diagram to my model - maybe for Hydra swapping purposes.

Nope, no AVCS on mine..
AVCS is not mentioned at all in the docs I got..
..but these docs are Forester spesific upto -04.
To save space and reduce duplicate files information for
further engines is located in the Impreza section of this
disc.

..and the Impreza section is not there of course

I wonder what docs a complete disc contains..

Out of curiousity, is there such a thing as turbo ecu.

Is it possible if these ecu's when hook up for turbo, use maps w/ internal to addition na modes?

Yes, 170hp.
As far as i know the only difference between Impreza and Forester (2.0 turbo) engines are Foresters smaller turbos and different cams.
The Forester turbo comes in before 2000 rpms...
Its not a racer, but has other good features 8)

NAs and turbos does not have the same ECUs.. Different IO components and programming.. same thing goes for AVCS I guess.
