Asking for 04 ol/cl delay fix - stock usdm wrx

Postby m1borromeo » Tue Jan 31, 2006 7:48 pm

Like the title says. Can anyone give me a fixed hex dump of an 04 WRX manual with no engine mods. My current ECU version is A4TF500F. I dont seem to be getting much luck searing for one. I just want to do some conservative exhaust mods later.

If you download Enginuity from this thread:
http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?t=169&start=75
It contains an image that has the OL/CL delay changes.

"It contains an image that has the OL/CL delay changes"

This is true but please keep in mind, that each rev of the ecu, the ol/cl changes are diffrent. I'm sure Mike could offer some more input.

The offsets for the CL settings are different in each rev of the ECU ah791, ah792, ah793- I would make sure to start with your stock image and make the appropriate changes.

The image on enginuity is a modifed ah792 image.

:D
Thanks for all your responses. Actually I got that portion of the hex code from that particular zip file. I compared it with my hex dump and that section above are the only differences plus some in the 0x02fff0. So I'm guess im on the right track.

For those who find this thread, the above ECU attached in the Enginuity 14A.zip file is AH792-A4TF500F like mine from a 04 WRX 5 speed.

As of today, there have been 2 later revisions to A4TF500F. They are A4TF510F and A4TF520F.

Does anyone know what the diffrence between the revisions are? I assume they "fixed" something in each new revision?
