I am using Ecuflash on the EDM Evo 9´s without getting any trouble.

A few numbers:
Evo 9 GSR EDM, ALL Stock except Downpipe ( so still in place: stock Catalyst, Stock Exhaust, Stock Turbo, Stock Cams, Stock Air Filter including Filter Element, stock Fuel system incl. Stock pump)

360 FWHP ( +80 HP ), 520 NM (+130nm) from 3400 up to 5500 RPM, 400NM from 3200 up to 7200 RPM.
AFR´s at 11.5 all way, Boost Levels 1.9 Bars from 3400up to 4900, then tapering linear to 1.5 Bars @ 7500 RPM

Stock Boost control ( also no mods in Rom for control ,except Boost cut raised), only changed the restrictor ( 0.9mm instead the stock 1.4mm ) pill FROM turbo to the tee piece, and removed the Upper restrictor one.

Above numbers were done on an Load holding MAHA 3000 Dyno ( similar to Mustangs ), constant RPM increase per time , measuring Time from 2700 to 7500 was 40 seconds.
(That simulates an 6 gear Pull on an regular Highway)
No knock or Boost related retard timing, European RON98 Fuel. Warmup Time for the car ON the Dyno @ Full Load was around 4 minutes at 3500 to 4500 RPM.
Peak Timings : 5 deg @ Peak BOOST/ Torque, 6 to 11 Degrees after Peak Torque until redline.

Maybe there are some problems with the Roms from the USDM Cars only?
With the very small mods at the above car, and what power it makes, i believe that its maybe inside the mapping when a car doesnt respond very well.
I expect an additional gain of around 40 HP when installing Cams and Exhaust on that Car.

I feel it is important to point out that this thread was started in April of 2007. That's about a year and a half ago.
