Can you post or PM me a link to that thread?

For some reason flashecu can't connect to my ecu to dump the rom :(

Comes up saying:

Using interface OpenPort 1.3 Universal
TX26pDkE6d0437d539f0b74e1f839ca8e61c0abf91fb0f09

sending init sequence 2

Then fails and says read the log.

Anyone have any ideas ?

The car is Evo 6 RSII

Yes I have the white connector connected.

If I leave the lead plugged in, and just swap to the e7 ecu, I can read and write it no problems.

Well have to write to it twice for some reason as it fails on first go, but point is it will connect and dump / write to it.

Barry can you do me a big favour please, and check your port settings for the openport cable in the device manager of windows xp.

Maybe just maybe there is a slightly different setting and thats why your the only 1 on here so far that has it working ;)

Can you go into advanced settings on the com port for the openport lead please and let me know what settings are in there.

Cheers

Yeh well if you can find the Ralliart Ecu to borrow, then you get to kill 2 birds with 1 stone ;)

Get to dump an evo 6 ecu, and get a decent dump from it too 8)
