Antilag-Activation

Hi do any of you guys know how to activate the Anti-lag function in the ecu.

can't you need the hardware aswell.

all jdm/european evo come with it from the factory, unlike the US.

Wow that is quite nifty...Americans get the shaft when it comes to cars. So where do we get the hardware for an Evo 8 for anti lag?

Anti-lag sounds great but maybe you don't want a real "WRC-style" system for the Street.

It shortens the life of your turbo... from years to months... to weeks if abused.
It also increases your EGT significantly. Google it first.

yeah yeah sure sure... :roll: there is at least one post like this every time "anti-lag" is mentioned. we all know and acknowledge the risk.

How do we get the required hardware? anyone have part numbers that we can potentially order?

This would be a minimal issue if used intermittently for auto-x. Question is, could it be turned on and off without flashing the ECU -- is there an input to engage or disengage it?
