Either change 1 ecu periphery bit => not whole hex code 0xYYYY, or put immo hexcode from previous ecu to the current.

I could just swap the immobilizer code, but I need a definition for my 00 ROM then. Im attaching the 00 ROM, so if anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your rom ID is 21800023. It is located at address 1021a. I am not capable of dissassembling roms, so I just took an existing .xml for a 00 v6 eclipse. Looked up your rom ID and changed the rom ID in the .xml. The immobilizer code has not been found yet. Do you have a V6 eclipse?

It is because not many H8 ECU's had immo.
I believe the address is 2fece, unfortunately I cannot test it as I am not in possession of one.
meclipsegt please report back if it helped.
backup solution is to change periphery bits 0x52DE -> 0x52D6 in 96720009, but I would try value at 2fece first.

Yeah, I have a V6 Eclipse.
Acamus, Ill try that on Thursday and see if it works. I know others have swapped the immobilizer code on the I4 Eclipses with success, so we will see.
Thanks for your help guys, its greatly appreciated. This ECU swap has been a headache for me.

I tried both and they didnt work. Any other ideas?
I even compared the ECU pinouts and they were the same, its the autos that have problems. So Im lost now.

It didnt work, on mine or another V6. Is there any way to tell if the ECU is bad?

The address of 2fece looks like it might be the right location for the immo code. I compared two 21810021 roms and the only differece was at 1fece and 1fecf.
Look at post 17.
