I have installed evo7 engine in a mitsubishi colt , and i use the stock ecu of this engine (MR560648). The engine dont start and as i belive the problem is the original immobiliser . I want to disable the immobiliser and i have seen that i need Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 for connecting to the ecu .I want to build myself the cable and the only schema that i found is for openport 1.3.
Can i use the OpenPort 1.3 for connecting to the ecu and disable the immobiliser?

yes no problem with 1.3u cable ,rom id 98640014, theres a few ways in misc section /immo change to ffff enter as 0xffff or in ecu periphery change 56d8 to 56d0 again enter as 0x56d0, afaik only the uk evo7 fq300 had the immobiliser enabled onthat rom.
you can also use tephra modified 90550001 rom do you have a def file for any of those roms ?

in the attachment above download and save to ecuflash/rommetdata/mitsi/evo . if you have any problem e mail me the rom or i can send you a stock 98640014 with immo off,pm e mail address

What is the difference between openport 1.3U and openport 1.3M?

With that cable i can connect and reflash the ecu?
