Hello
I have 2006 outlander turbo and we make some changes.
-cat remove
-76mm exhaust sistem
-hks bov
-walbro fuel pump
-front mount intercooler
-exedy Twin Plate Clutch kit
-hks evc 5

We need to remove boost cut and ecu map But we couldn't read ecu by ecuflash.
we plug thin black cable( at tactric) to green cable at the car but we could not read.

Anyone can help me how to connect it and read ecu by a dagram or picture

Hi there,

I suggest you use ECUFLASH 1.29a (stable). Based on your message, the cable connection is correct. Pls make sure that the black cable is push in correctly and tightly. OBD=OBD Black=Green

After you boot up ECUFLASH and try selecting

- EVO7/8 or
- EVO9

to read. Hopefully it works. i dont believe there's a definition file for Outlander Turbo yet. If you can read the ROM and save it then post it here maybe the experts here can help write one for you. However, I have attached the Airtrek Turbo xml for you to try if you can use it.

In Asia, we have the Airtrek Turbo similar engine specs but tiptronic gearbox. Your is manual rite? Since its manual you can go for Haltech ECU is all else fail.

Good luck!

Has anybody actually been able to successfully read the EDM Outlander ECU using EcuFlash?
We were trying it on a 05 2.0T Outlander yesterday and it was not possible, we were getting "...no response to any known code".
The car's extra connector has two wires, a green and a purple.
We connected the Tactrix extra black cable to each and both of them, using EcuFlash 1.29a and the latest version. No luck.
Eventually we got an error code, P0606 - ECM/PCM Processor, but we cleared it and the car ran fine.
