I need a definition file: 2001 Dodge Stratus

Ok so I was messing with my gf's stratus because she had a cel so I got my tactrix cable and laptop to see if i can connect to it through scan tech. Well when i found the plug under the dash i saw the white plug as well just like my evo to flash?

So I connected to the car, cleared her cel - then said i wonder if i can read your ecu? so I hooked it up and downloaded the rom - but the definition isnt found so I cant look at it.

I know the car is the same as the 3rd gen eclipse because she has had to get a few parts from mitsu for it......Thats why I originally posted a 3rd gen eclipse since they are basically the same car with same motor and different body. Sorry.....didnt think anyone would be willing to help knowing it was a dodge :)

This is all strictly for fun and to mess around - so if anyone can help me figure out what the def. would be I would appreciate it...

Its a 2001 Dodge Stratus, 2.4L - automatic

UPDATE: I got the rom files from this site http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread. ... hlight=ROM

but non for the eclipse or stratus were recognized when i went to open her rom....

That looks remarkably similar in a lot of ways to an EVO7/8 ROM; I'm assuming it has an SH 7052 processor?

It's in there .. just can't remember which one I used .. there's only 1 map unlike the 2 in Evo's

It's a very simple 2002 version Base Lancer map .. no low octane maps

Oh yes.. and make sure you enable developer instead of beginner :lol:

I have no fuel or timing maps - nothing is in my xml file except the rom data?

Yeah my ecuflash is in developer mode because I do all my own stuff on the evo and have every patch/rom mod that is out.

This is all I have:

<rom>
<romid>
<xmlid>85850014</xmlid>
<internalidaddress>f52</internalidaddress>
<internalidhex>85850014</internalidhex>
<caseid>SM8585</caseid>
<ecuid>XM8585</ecuid>
<make>Chrysler</make>
<market>USDM</market>
<model>Stratus</model>
<transmission>Manual</transmission>
<year>2001</year>
<flashmethod>mitsukernel</flashmethod>
<memmodel>SH7052</memmodel>
</romid>

<include>evo7base</include>

</rom>

On a new note.......

I copied some things into the xml file you gave me from another stratus xml file (85120032) and I did get some info out of it but the fuel and timing maps plus some other stuff are all scrambled so the addresses are probably not correct but its a step closer possibly?

If you get a chance plug the xml file in and look at the rom and see what you think......I attached the xml file with all the info i pasted into it.

Thanks!

Add this into the your file .. sorry .. didn't check the xml I sent .. but it should have included this inside since this was where I got this

How do you download this into a file that is usable? All I got was a window with the contents.
