Hello guys

I have a problem with my EVO IX which was already discussed in the forum, but I couldn't find any actual solution. Does any of you have the solution?
The problem occurs by writing/comparing. By reading no problem:

sending init sequence 1 (0001)
got 0x05 response
sending init sequence 2
got 0x1B response
sending init sequence 3
entering bootloader
sending kernel size (4452)
sending kernel load address (0xFFFF7000)
uploading kernel
verifying kernel checksum response
kernel valid
kernel get version
rkrv: preamble 1 error
reading kernel comm buffer size
reading kernel flash buffer size
interface close
interface close

I'm using ECUFlash 1.34, although I tried also with 1.29 with the same result.

Please help me!

Thanks

The kernel is uploading correctly, but not running.

This looks like the EVO8 hookup method; my guess is that your XML is wrong (specified as EVO8/7052).

That explains why you can read but not write.

Make sure your XML has these lines:
Code: Select all
<submodel>EVO9</submodel>
<flashmethod>mitsukernelocp</flashmethod>
<memmodel>SH7055</memmodel>

Hello

it is specified like that except for the flashmethod.

In my xml there is
<flashmethod>mitsukernel</flashmethod>

Can this be the problem?

Reading works flawless

I am having the same problem as well. I could download proberly but not read. And what is the most important issue, there is no ID.# . So, I cant figure out the XML-Definition File.

I'm almost 100% sure this is the problem. Must be OCP.
