So I am assuming these downloads are stock '03 ROMS with the p0300 fix?

There were several versions of the fix, do you know which rev these are?

[edit]
http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?t=546

saw this forum bug, but the question still remains, do you know the rev of this patch?

thanks

FWIW - I got the following error when trying to view this ROM: "The current map description is invalid or incomplete. Please edit the map description to fix the problem and the map will be viewable again."

I don't get that error when loading this ROM, I do get the error when downloading the ROM from the ECU.

Does anyone have a decent '03 ROM without the p0300 fix?

I posted my stock first allocation rom on EvoM.. Forgot to post it here..

Immobilizer code has been changed to FFFF, change it to yours before you try to upload it.

I'm suprised no one has asked about comparing the roms to see what exactly the P0300 fix is. I just checked my map and its the same as Malibu (no P0300 fix) Case ID: MN132874 Internal ID: 94170008 which differs from the P0300 fix rom posted above.

I'm going to copy my settings over to this rom and see what happens.

Interesting changes on the knock sensor filter map!

So far that's been the only thing I've noticed...

Those 2 maps appear to be exactly the same, you just have the wrong offset for the top one, move it left one column and you have the same map as shown below.

Any thoughts why this map wouldnt start in my car? I transfered my fuel/timing etc.. from my current map to this one... and yes I copied my immoblizer key over.

If you are transferring map data to a ROM that doesn't have correct map offset information you will be corrupting the ROM image and any number of things can go wrong.

The definition associated with my 03 Rom (94170008) Knock Sensor Filter 1 Map is off by 12 bytes.. The definition itself needs to be updated for your next release.. The map is located at 485b not 4850
