I am having trouble connecting to a IX MR. I know it has been flashed before, but had no luck even with ECU Unlocker. It has to be someting simple that I am doing wrong.

Openport 1.3M installed correctly and is showing in the lower right of Ecuflash 1.30.

When I try to read from the ecu and select 2006 Evo9, all I get is "unable to connect to vehicle interface." The key should be two clicks in the acc on position right?

I thought maybe the cable was not installed right, but evoscan logs fine and checks codes fine.

Flash sequence is usually done in two steps:
1) Open ecuflash and read image. You should get a window asking to press OK once you've turned the key in the ignition.
2) Turn the key to ignition - not starter position. Then press OK

Since Evoscan works fine, if there is any problem it should be in your flash init connector (the white plastic cable that plugs next to the OBD port).

are you running the unlocker from aktivematrix? I just read a flashed MR today.
