Hi, i just managed to read my EVO IX JDM rom from the ECU but i am unable to alter or look at the maps. Can anyone help me please.

It is 8857008.xml you need which I've created and posted in this forum if you search under my name.

Pointers for you in tuning:

1. SAFETY ISSUE
Lean spool enable should be reduced from 3500 to 2500 RPM and the 2500-3500 RPM area of the fuel map richened up considerably to avoid running the car lean.

2. MIVEC PERFORMANCE
Copying the JDM RS MIVEC map (see ECUflash forum on evolutionm.net) really helps spool up and torque - I get 1 bar at 2250 RPM with exhaust.

3. FUELLING
Top end goes rich at 7000 RPM even though the fuel map doesn't. Change lean spool disable to 7500 RPM to move it just before the rev limiter.

Save your immobiliser code and original ROM.

I managed to get the rom out from my car but when I use the definition 88570008.xml on this rom, Ecuflash crashes. I am using Vista. I used to be able to read this using XP but now everytime i put the xml file into the evo folder and read the rom ECU Flash crashes. Anyone had problems with this before?
