latest 2002 MT flash?

Thanks, that makes sense. Now I see why the rom images had AT or MT in some of the parameters.

I know you have to navigate around to find what you are looking for. Here's a good link to keep around. Scoobypedia is a good start for manufacturer updates.

Posted: Thu Oct 12, 2006 7:31 pmok, i'll join the noob party! similar situation, but I just want to make absolutely sure... I've got a A4SGC00C AF423 ecu, and of course get the "a newer version..." message when i start up enginuity.
now the question is, can I run the 2002 rom labeled "A4SGE01C (AF426) " instead of the one I have? I thought you had to stick with the same model #?

1-to reflash your ecu, you need a rom file which has the same tables than yours so usually you stick to the same ROM or ROM family (there are a few revision of each
2-some will post "remapped" ecus but check them out first, if the hardware is not the same has yours (exhaust, injectors, etc) the ROM might damage your motor.
This forum is not intended to distribute our new map but rather how to do it ourselves
