i have the same ROM and I can't get any maps to come up .
It appears to have read fine, but then all I have is Misc and incomplete timing tables...

any help would be appreciated.
I am using the 1.3 cable and green test connectors are connected.

I have successfully flashed 3 evos with this cable and program for some really nice gains.

This revision is supported in the latest Enginuity version:

I've been tuning for years, but new to this software...

I downloaded that hex file and converted it to xml and I must have inputed some incorrect things because I still get no maps.

*SIGH*

I looked through enginuity and can't find what I'm looking for. I can't be the only idiot around can I?

You don't have to do anything with the xml. If you download Enginuity 3.1b (on the main page), it already comes with support for that revision. Just start Enginuity and open your rom. If it still shows wacky values, then your rom is corrupted and you need to redownload it.

Hi all,

I've just had a look at this map in ECUFlash (just out interest - I don't have a US car !) and there's something I don't understand....

The Fuel Maps 'Engine Load' axis only goes as far as 2.75 g/cyl. Well my UK 2litre pulls more than that - and I thought the US cars had 2.5litre - so surely it pulls more g/cyl ???

Or am I missing something ?

Helen.

The unit used for load in all Subaru ECUs is grams of air per engine revolution. Various software programs incorrectly display load for 16-bit ECUs in units of grams of air per 2 engine revolutions. In other words, the load displayed by software programs for 16-bit ECUs is twice the value it should be.

Just a tip for MAC users...this may apply to PC...

If you get a ROM and load it into Enginuity, but get absolutely nothing. None of the tables are present or just loads and then you get nothing. What you can do is highlight the file name so you can change it. Rename it to what ever you want and change the extension to .BIN(or .hex if it is a .bin) Then try and open it again. It should work.

good luck.

This assumes your software version and def/logger xml files are the newest versions
