i have read the rom from the ecu using the ecu flash software
now when i try to add the xml files using the software in the link freon prodied here: http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?t=719

i cannot find any info for a usdm 04 sti with internal id A2ZJ700J
how do i do this?

ok, first off, why are u trying to use this rom, instead of modifing the newer stock rom 710. Second, you should try using enginuity to edit your rom file. Third, if you want to post your rom, I will be happy to make you the xml definition. I am guessing you are asking for the definitions for ecuflash?
