Hi all I have a wrx bug 01 it has been flashed in the past not with ecuflash, I can,t open the rom & I have an identicle ecu that is standard that i can read & wright no probs.. The thing is If I got to start from scratch This car has loads of mods so it would be a bit quicker to get the rom if poss. If not I'll start with the other stock ecu I have.
I've not heard or read of a scoob unlocker yet so I guess I've had it?...

Come on dudes you got to be able to open a scoob ecu??

No Subaru unlocker software AFAIK; it's not as simple as Mitsubishi, in fact it is very difficult as there are many many ways to lock these ECUs.
Send it to someone who offers an ECU unlock service and pay the fee they're asking. It's the best way to do it. Search this forum, there are at least 2 such people.
