Looks like Tactrix took openport2 off of its site... not sure what that means. Is there any way to connect to and reflash an '08 STi at this point?

hello, how do you identify if ECU is USDM/EDM/ADM/SADM?

My ECu looks exactly like yours, same numbers, everything, am using 1.39 and newest definitions, and can connect successfully, just don't know which market release it is. I am in the Philippines btw.

Thanks man!

Look at the first nibble of the second byte of the ECU ID.
0 = Japan
1 = North America
4 = Europe
5 = Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
A = South America

For example, if SSM2 ECU ID is 5A 42 78 41 07, then the ECU is for the European market (= 4).

Hi Jon,

Thanks, SSM2 ECU ID is 5A 42 78 42 07, but is the reflashed version, so I guess that's the reason why it won't match with any of the definitions.

Thanks :)
