guys,

I'm new to tuning and planning to switch from ecutek to enguinity. My car mods are:

STI injectors
PE1825 turbo
APS 70mm CAI
stock downpipe
3 inch decatted downpipe
JDM STi engine

Is it safe to plug in a stock ecu with all the mods above and do logging? What parameters should I be looking at to change for starters?

Thanks

You will need to tune the car immediately. You need to change injector scale and possibly latency immediately, before you even flash it to the car. Then you'll need to immediately start on rescaling the MAF since you have a non-stock diameter intake.

It sounds like you're starting well behind the 8 ball here. It's best to learn how to tune a nearly stock car first (or maybe stock, just with exhaust mods or intercooler). There's a huge list of stuff you'll need to do with new injectors, new turbo, big diameter intake, etc. Maybe you can find someone local to tune your car to get you started. You're not going to get there by jumping in with all that stuff and posting some questions on the internet.

Maybe you can try spending some time searching through posts here and also the tuning forums on NASIOC.

Thanks Freon, for your advice. I'll doing more research on the threads in here and in NASIOC.

BTW, my car is still drivable (no high reving, no high boost) even if I have not made any changes yet, right?

If those injectors are bigger than the ECU is expecting it will run rich as hell and may melt your cats; not good on earlier models where the cat is pre-turbo.
I wouldn't drive it man.

thanks for your replies. i'll look at scaling my injectors as my first task then.
