2001 UK Impreza

I am having major problems connecting to my ECU.
I have a UK 2001 Bugeye it has previously been Ecutec mapped.I have the latest ecuflash software.
I can connect great with the enginuity software, the problem is have a cel light on and need to no why ? is there any other software out there that i could use to read fault codes ??
