MY01 RS & SSM
Posted: Tue Mar 13, 2007 12:59 pmI realize there have been many similar threads, but I can't seem to extract the exact information I'm looking for. This is also a lot of information for someone new to take in.
Basically, I'm wondering what requirements there are for using ecuExplorer with my 2001 Impreza RS via SSM. I'm having a hard time figuring out if the Tactrix cable will work with my ECU via SSM, or just via OBD-II.
I'm not really interested in flashing it, mostly just logging and general diagnosis utility (read codes, check sensor values), and as I understand it, SSM is able to log data much faster than standard OBD-II (hence my interest in SSM, when OBD-II would suffice).
If anyone can answer my question, I'd appreciate it.
